Summer Block Party Vendor / Participation Application

We are excited to announce Mead’s Summer Block Party that will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Mead Town Park! We invite you to be a part of many businesses operating in and around Mead and to experience shopping among other vendor booths .

There will be food trucks, a beer/wine sales, music entertainment and family fun throughout the day to participate in! We look forward to working with you!

Participants are responsible for providing their tables, chairs, and tents. Payment is due at the time of application submission. Forms (Fee, application and Indemnification Agreement) must be returned no later than May 27, 2026.

Vendors may begin to set up at 1:00pm and be ready to go by 4:00pm. There will be a penalty for packing up early- you will forfeit next year’s invitation to be a vendor.

The Mead Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel the Mead’s Summer Block Party for any reasons that would jeopardize the health and safety of the public.

A. In consideration for being permitted to perform the below-described activities, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Mead Area Chamber, officers, employees, volunteers, insurers, and self-insurance pool, from and against all liability, claims, and demands, on account of injury, loss or damage, including without limitation claims arising from bodily injury, personal injury, sickness, disease, death, property loss or damage, or any other loss of any kind whatsoever, which arise out of or are in any manner connected with the below-described activities, if such injury, loss, or damage is caused in whole or in part by, or is claimed to be caused in whole or in part by, the act, omission, negligence, or other fault.

B. I understand that the below described activities may involve risks of injury, loss, or damage including but not limited to bodily injury, personal injury, sickness, disease, death, and property loss or damage. By signing this agreement, I expressly agree to assume any and all such risks. In addition, in consideration for being permitting to perform the below-described activities, I hereby expressly exempt and release the Mead Area Chamber, officers, employees, volunteers, insurers, and self-insurance pool, from and against all liability, claims, demands, on account of injury, loss or damage including without limitation claims arising from bodily injury, personal injury, sickness, disease, death, or property loss or damage, that I may incur as a result of being upon the premises of the Town of Mead, its officers, or its employees, or from any other cause whatsoever.

Description of activities to be performed:

Sale of Merchandise for Mead’s Summer Block Party

REQUIREMENTS: All vendors selling merchandise must provide:
• A copy of their current sales tax license for the State of Colorado with their completed vendor application.
• Town of Mead businesses must have a current business license.
• Transient merchants (out-of-town) must have a current business license.
• Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable sales tax to the Colorado Department of Revenue using the Special Sales Event Sales Tax Return Form. Colorado: 2.9% Mead 3.0%

INSURANCE: Vendor spaces are not insured by the Town of Mead or the Mead Area Chamber of Commerce.
