Why Business Mixers

The business mixers will be similar to traditional networking events but we plan on putting a more “fun” emphasis to hopefully attract more participants. 

  • Meet new and existing customers
  • Networking
  • Increase and share knowledge
  • These will be more fun and relaxed
  • You can help out your business/organization by helping out others

What are the Benefits?

Many of us look at these networking events as only good for  “networking” but there is so much more to them.

  • Receive advice from other business owners who have been there and done it.
  • Raising your profile by improving your reputation as a knowledgeable person will increase your chances to win that job when a customer does need you.
  • Being able to hang out with other people who are positive will make you feel more positive.
  • The more you talk to others about your business the more confident you will become in yourself.

Learning Luncheons

Learning Luncheons will offer our members an opportunity to learn about a specific topic to help grow their business or to help the community. This is a new program we are implementing this year and more details will follow.

 

 

Vendor Opportunities

We are working with the Town of Mead to have vendor booths available at several of their events this year.  Stay tuned to our website when these opportunities will be available.

Annual Dinner & Awards

Be a sponsor or attend this annual Chamber event in January. It’s a great chance to meet fellow members and you may even walk away with an award!

Annual Summer Golf Tournament

Be a sponsor or volunteer to help at this annual signature event that takes place late July. Join other memgers and guests for a round of golf to raise funds for the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation.

Summer Vendor Event and Cornhole Tournament

Be a participant or volunteer at this successful event. Come sell your goods or set a booth to get the word out about your business or take your chances in our largest cornhole tournament!

Christmas Tree Raffle

Be a tree sponsor or volunteer to help at this annual Holiday event in early December. New this year will be a Holiday Market for our businesses and friends to be vendors and sell their goods!

Share the news of your business’ succcess as we highlight the best things about Mead in our monthly Chamber Chatter Newsletter.

Fun Networking

Be a sponsor or volunteer to help at our quarterly networking events. Our cornhole tournaments, bingo and trivia nights are wildly popular and add that element of fun and excitement to our networking!

Member Mixers

Cocktails and appetizers are served after-hours where you can mingle with members and guests. Chamber members can sign up their businesses to host one of these events and they are held quarterly.

Marketing

Be a sponsor or participate in our ongoing member marketing programs in social media, web, print and video to maximize your exposure. These include: MHS sports posters, facebook, Instagram, website and live feeds at our events.
